Partly inspired from someone on /r/MGTOW:
Subject the world to your reason. Let nothing be safe. There are no sacred institutions that are safe from your reason.
Who the fuck came in and dismissed you? Like you aren't allowed to formulate your own thoughts? Like you aren't worthy or smart enough to come up with an idea of your own?
This is how many people are made to feel the first few decades of their lives. Even as you get older, these days, this is the same attitude of the greater number of society. The great herd, the brainwashed, the absorbers and passers-on of groupthink, the pathetic "people" who are so developmentally stunted that they are only capable of spouting "socially approved" ideas.
Those who treat everything else as ultimate heresy.
Now take a look at people like that. Poke your finger into the mentality behind what they do. Stir it up. Pull your finger out. Wipe the boogers off. And say to them:
"Who the fuck are you to tell me that I'm ignorant and should think thus-and-so? Who do you think you are? What makes you think that you have the right to take a steaming dump on my thoughts, opinions, and life? You can keep your authoritarian mind-control horseshit to yourself. Go fuck yourself."
In the end, only you can determine what to you holds truth and meaning and worth.
Whether it is the degraded truth of the drug-addict willing to do anything for their next fix, or the transcendent truth of attempting to improve yourself and perhaps improve the world. The descent into the pit, or the climb out of it.

ReplyDeleteIt is not until you descend into hell that you can ever reach heaven. Heaven has to be earned, or it is worthless. These fucks that want to control you: they're cowards. And since they can't make good on their own lives, they try to ensure you fail in yours. Misery loves company. The truth is lonely and burns off deadwood. Would you rather be alone at the top or in misery among the masses? And remember, you come in alone, and die alone. So what's your choice?
And the most funny thing is that the mentality - created in infancy- "this is true because my mother says so", is precisely one of the first phallacies any one learns to dispell in First Grade of Phallacies (Kindergarten really), the so called in pompous Latin jargon "Phalacy Ad Verecundiam. Since every body receives this treatment, then you have the derived second Phallacy, ie. "this is true because EVERYBODY since always says it is true. (Phalacy "Ad populum"). But the only relevant, the cause is the "Ad Verecundiam". Mother & Fahter are replaced by Teachers, then replaced by Legislators and Judges, and Academia and al the rest of the so called "Official Truth".
ReplyDeleteThank you both.
ReplyDelete@Eduardo - yes. Learn to be lonely. From there can come peace and happiness on your own terms - not the terms of others.
@Dhavar - that is an excellent point. It's mommy's thinking passed down and writ large. You remind me, I must go through the logical fallacies once more, and then think closely about applying it to itself.
It's a pity that the Hypocritical Oath rules these days - "do as I say, not as I do". So many of us are incapable of looking at ourselves in a harsh light. We can't deal with the pain.
